Charged for Performance

Powerful and seamless acceleration unique to BEVs, delivered the moment you step on the accelerator. The compact and lightweight design delivers nimble manoeuvrability, while its low centre of gravity layout ensures a smooth and stable ride. This is SUBARU's latest offering, crafted to deliver its signature fun-to-drive experience.

e-SUBARU GLOBAL PLATFORM

The UNCHARTED leverages the e-SUBARU GLOBAL PLATFORM, a dedicated platform that has been newly developed for SUBARU BEVs. The high-capacity battery is located under the floor, lowering the centre of gravity to improve handling and maximise cabin space. Its innovative design merges the battery case with the body frame, forming a monolithic structure for improved rigidity.

Power Unit (Motor/Battery)

The compact and highly efficient eAxle power unit generates torque instantaneously, delivering rapid response and linear acceleration. A powerful 167 kW* motor drives the front axle, while a water-cooled system regulates battery temperature to ensure consistent performance.
* Some FWD models are equipped with a 124 kW motor.

Charging

The UNCHARTED is designed for convenience, offering ample range and compatibility with fast charging worldwide. 150 kW DC quick charging powers the battery to 80% in just 28 minutes*. For standard charging, a 22 kW AC charger is also available, while a smartphone app enables remote charge monitoring.

Charging Performance at Low Temperatures

The battery heater ensures reliable performance and faster charging in low-temperature conditions. Additionally, if you set a charging station as your destination in the navigation system, the preheat function warms the battery before arrival, significantly reducing charging time—even at temperatures as low as -10°C.

SUBARU has incorporated its expertise into a front-and-rear independent motor-driven AWD system, paired with X-MODE to enhance rough-road capability. By harnessing the quick, precise control of electric motors, the system delivers exceptional stability and performance, enabling SUBARU SUVs to tackle diverse driving conditions with confidence.

AWD System

SUBARU’s AWD expertise is now in an EV, with eAxle motors at the front and rear enabling precise power distribution and brake vectoring to optimise grip for every wheel. The driver can now better grasp the ever-changing road and vehicle conditions, making it easier to maintain control. This provides greater peace of mind than ever before.

X-MODE

X-MODE enables the UNCHARTED to drive through the toughest conditions, from deep snow to muddy trails, delivering exceptional rough-road performance*. For added confidence, the Panoramic View Monitor provides visual support, helping drivers navigate challenging terrain and detect obstacles when parking.
